Key Australian Government officers with responsibility for the project were: Ms Judy Petch, Director, Student Wellbeing; Ms Linda Stevens, Assistant Director, Student Wellbeing; and Ms Robyn Nicholson, Assistant Director, Student Wellbeing.
As is customary with large government projects of this type, DEEWR appointed a Project Advisory Group (PAG) to support the project and critique its directions. The PAG was comprised of state and territory personnel with specific expertise in the area along with community and agency representatives.
The Group was made up of the three DEEWR officers listed above, plus: Ms Mary Carmody, Catholic Education, South Australia; Ms Robyn Ramsden, Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, Victoria; Ms Lorraine Walker, Catholic Education Commission, NSW; Mr Bruno Benci, Australian Primary Principals’ Association; Ms Toni Miller, Australian Drug Education Council; Mr Rupert Macgregor, Australian Council of State School Organisations (ACSSO); and Ms Susan Boucher, Australian Principals’ Associations’ Professional Development Council (APAPDC).
The project was also conducted in conjunction with the Australian Catholic University National - in particularly with support from key academics: Professor Charles Burford; Dr Marea Nicholson; and Dr Nicki Brake. Their scholarship and authorship for these resources have been of great value.
DEEWR appointed Insight Consulting Partners Pty Ltd to manage the project on their behalf.
